The Health Forum has as its prime purpose the establishment of a new primary care unit at the Nelson Hospital, managed by a Trust controlled by local doctors. The Forum is leading an information and consultative campaign which includes analysing the needs of the local community. The scheme, among the first of its kind in the country, brings together leading executives of the two NHS Trusts, local community associations and health groups and the local authority.

Wimbledon Guild Day Centre - vacancies

Wimbledon Guild have some vacancies at their Day Centre. The Day Centre runs from 10.00am to 3.00pm each weekday and everyone who attends can enjoy a varied (gentle) activities programme and a freshly prepared and really nutritious meal.

Transport may be arranged for a limited number of clients.

WG would be delighted to welcome anyone whom you think may benefit from the Day Centre so please feel free to pass this information on to others.

The daily fee for the Day Centre is £6.00.

Proposed New Health Centre at Raynes Park

Neighbouring ward councillors will be holding a meeting for residents to hear about and discuss plans for a proposed new Health Centre in Raynes park at Selsey House and 1 Lambton Road. (Planning application 09/P2080. Come along and have your say.
