Radio 4 Any Questions 8 January 2010

Dear All,

I am pleased to announce that the Baitul Futuh Mosque has been selected to host an edition of “Any Questions?”, BBC Radio 4’s flagship live political debate programme that is broadcast each Friday. This topical show is hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby and will included high profile political leaders from the main political parties who will answer questions fielded by audience members. The Mosque will host the 8th January 2010 programme. This is an exciting opportunity for both the Mosque, but more importantly for the whole of Merton and South London and we are eager to ensure that the event goes very smoothly.

I am encouraging you to apply for a ticket to attend as an audience member. If you wish to apply, please provide me with your name, address, telephone number, your organisation and position.

Due to the expected demand for tickets and the short time involved, I would be grateful if you would reply by email by return.

You will be notified within 7 days of your request whether you have been allocated a ticket and they will be issued to you by post. However, we would prefer if you are able to collect your ticket from our office and therefore please confirm whether you are able to collect your ticket when you reply.

Audience members are expected to arrive no later than 6pm on 8th January 2009, however, we are inviting guests for 5pm and you may benefit from refreshments and a tour of the Mosque if you wish. Time is of the essence because the programme is being broadcast live and therefore any guests arriving out of time will not be allowed admission.

Please note that the press may be in attendance as well as our television crew to record the programme.
