28 August 2009 - 4:55pm
Time: 2.00pm – 3.00pm formal AGM 3.00pm – 4.20pm presentations on PCT’s activities
The purpose of the meeting is to present to the public the Trust’s annual report and annual accounts for 2008-9. There will be a chance for questions and answers at the end of each session. The theme of this year’s AGM is how we can help you get the most out of the local NHS, and keynote speakers will include a local GP, pharmacist and a representative of the local voluntary sector. We have attached a flier to promote the AGM, and would be grateful if you could display this in a public place to encourage others to attend.
At the AGM, we will be changing our name from Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust (PCT) to NHS Sutton and Merton. This is to reflect our role as leaders of the local NHS, and to help the public understand what we do.
Light refreshments will be available at the meeting. Please let us know if you can attend so that we can confirm numbers for catering. If you have any questions about the Annual Public Meeting, please contact the Communications Department on 020 8251 0512 or email: communications@smpct.nhs.uk.
Kay Sonneborn,
Chairman, Sutton and Merton PCT
