Wimbledon Bookfest 2010

Wasn’t Wimbledon Bookfest this year a triumph! Anthony Gormley, Salman Rushdie and many others. The big tent on the Common and continuing involvement of venues such as St Mark’s, Wimbledon College of Art and the Library. Congratulations to the organisers and volunteers who have created something that is really building up year by year. It’s time Wimbledon became a bit more highbrow and known for something other than tennis, splendid though the tennis is.
