Education Forum: Aims & Activities

The Education Forum is concerned with bringing parents, governors, teachers and the local authority into a public debate on how best to manage the recent proposals to switch the Merton education system from a three-tier to two-tier structure. This is a difficult and controversial process at every level, involving re-allocation of classes and schools, major funding complications and some school closures.
