NEW STREET SIGNAGE IN WIMBLEDON
Starting off the new year, the Wimbledon Business Forum will be joining forces with our neighbours in Wimbledon Village for a unique networking event at Cannizaro House. Our key theme will be the proposed signage by London Borough of Merton which will be implemented borough wide. Our forum will provide businesses from Wimbledon Town Centre and Wimbledon Village the opportunity to feed back a unified response to the Council with views and ideas on the signage we would like to see "Wimbledon" wide.
We hope you will join us for this unique event to start off 2010.
The forum is for all Wimbledon based businesses and is free to attend. If you would like to attend, please email tracy@wimbledontowncentre.co.uk with the names of those wishing to attend from your company or book directly online.
Making Wimbledon better for business means listening to the businesses and giving them a place to come together where they can raise the issues that concern them or that affect their business, and most importantly where they can get some answers or some resolution. That is exactly what the aim of the Wimbledon Business Forum is.
We encourage all businesses to let us know in advance of the issues they want to raise, such as crime, grafitti, parking, etc., so that we can ensure that the appropriate person (whether from the Council or the Police) is present at the forum. The forum is for you - the Wimbledon business - and we urge you to guide the agenda by letting us know what your issues are.
The format of the forum is a short networking period (including buffet breakfast) followed by a theatre-style forum where we follow an agenda which has been built by the businesses who are attending. Notes and actions are taken and will be addressed in the next forum, so that we can all ensure that we're not just talking about things, we're doing things to work towards making Wimbledon better for business.
