The speaker drew on the experiences he has had over the past 20 years as a reporter and presenter in religious broadcasting for the BBC.
In addition to broadcasting, he has written a book on world religions, a childrens bible and a biography of Terry Waite: also a book on hope and healing in Belfast and a book on depression for the Samaritans.
The evening concluded with refreshments, including food from our different religious and ethnic backgrounds.
