JOB VACANCIES:

Honorary Secretary to take over the position from John Crossman, who is retiring . This would suit someone recently retired who lives locally, with a legal, services, or business background. The position is unpaid, and involves attendance at some executive committee meetings (8.30 - 9.30am on the second Tuesday of the month), and a small number of hours over the course of the year in preparing documentation and dealing with administrative matters.

Executive Committee - one or two new people to serve on the executive committee - doers who help organise forums, ease communication, and represent the local community on projects such as the new civic hall. The executive committee meets at 8.30 - 9.30am on the second Tuesday of the month, excluding August. The position is unpaid.

Youth Forum - a volunteer to help organise the Youth Forum - working with existing local youth organisations and evolving links and communication . This would suit a young person. The position is unpaid.
