MARCUS BEALE is chairman of the Executive Committee and the Forum's Urban Design Task Force.

Architect director of Marcus Beale Architects in Wimbledon since 1991, recognised for excellence in housing, innovation in garden design, business community partnership, and contribution to the character of Oxford. Trained at Trinity College Cambridge [1978-81, 1985-7]. Wimbledon resident since 1988, married to Frances since 1985, three sons.

Community work includes:

• RIBA pair (architectural adviser) to Stephen Hammond MP
• Conservation and Design Advisor to LB Merton
• Chairman - Merton Prioy Trust.
