Over 20 years experience as Economic Consultant and Programme and Project Manager in Government, International Organisations (European Commission, Council of Europe) and private sector. This has included: DFID projects in Montserrat, China and Hungary; EC PHARE projects in Lithuania; EC TACIS project in Ukraine and Uzbekistan; evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of several European policies and programmes (such as energy, tourism, regional aids); analysis of effects of the Single Market on European industries; economic scenarios for eastern Europe; the role of R&D in regional development; project/investment appraisal and financial analysis; evaluation and value for money of urban regeneration schemes.

Experienced in programme and project management, primarily international projects. Particular interest in development of project and programme management best practices.

Several years of academic research and teaching of economics and corporate strategy at university level. Familiar with econometrics and economic theory. Highly computer literate.
